It has been our experience that puppies who have been well socialized and exposed to various environments at an early age are less likely to become fearful, shy nervous or aggressive dogs.

Proper socialization at an early age is the key to our Imprinting program. PetSelect has established several community based programs in order to achieve this goal. All pups who enter our program have the opportunity to interact with people on a regular basis as well the pup is exposed and becomes comfortable to a variety of different environments such as class rooms, administrative offices, libraries and even warehouses. This gives us an opportunity to be able to observe and monitor each pups' behavior (personality) throughout the process..

Socialization and familiarization at an early age creates a firm foundation which in turn leads to a well rounded individual.
